In 1930,the result of the merger of two companies were born Secil - Companhia Geral de Cal e Cimento, which throughout its history, consolidated its presence in the Portuguese market and expanded to the international market.
Secil is a business group that bases its activity on the production and commercialization of cement, ready-mixed concrete, aggregates, mortars, prefabricated concrete and hydraulic lime. It also has an enormous responsibility in the area of environmental sustainability, having received, in 2011, theInnovation Award for Sustainability (European Awards for the Environment) in the Management category, an initiative of the European Commission, organized by the Portuguese Environment Agency.

About the project
The websites of the Group companies, Secil Britas, Secil Prebetão, Unibetão and Argibetão, now have a more contemporary image and closer to the corporate identity of the Secil Group, thus offering its users an experience of more accessible and direct navigation, where a wide range of products and solutions for construction are offered, with improved and more intuitive functionalities, such as the slab calculation (Secil Prebetão) and roof tile (Argibetão) simulators.
In 2018, in a statement, Secil Britas said "We believe that this new platform is more oriented to our customers, with a more attractive and functional design and adapted to all mobile devices".
In 2021, in a statement, Joaquim Wilson Rocha, from the Marketing and Communication department, of the SECIL Group states “Efficiency, competence, availability and quick response to our requests are an asset in projects developed with Javali. Why Drupal was chosen
Among the Group's companies, Secil Prebetão, Secil Britas, Unibetão and recently Argibetão felt the need not only to renew their image, with a more attractive and functional graphics and closer to the Group's graphic lines, but also to improve the features they offer to their customers, so JAVALI was the company chosen for the design and development of their websites.
It was based on the needs of these Group companies, that JAVALI, using the content manager Drupal, developed its websites according to their needs, guaranteeing the best practices in search engine optimization (SEO), accessibility for people with visual difficulties and a design that not only reflects the principles and values of the Group and its companies, but also adapts (responsive) to different devices (desktop, tablet and smartphones).
On the Secil Prebetão website as the main feature we highlight the slab calculation simulator, where users can calculate the optimized prefabricated slab solution for their projects.
On the website of Secil Britas and Unibetão we highlight the most organized structure, providing a more intuitive navigation for users and where it is possible to consult more effectively the available products and reference works. On the Argibetão website we highlight the fact that it is multilingual and also its more organized and intuitive structure, where it is possible to consult more efficiently and always updated the ranges of products available, presenting their characteristics, the type of packaging needed and where you can quickly and easily plan the construction of your home, using the tile calculator which, based on the area you want to cover, shows the total amount of tiles you will need, as well as the amount per m².
