Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Parish is a Roman Catholic church that brings together believers in Christ who strive to live according to his teachings. It wants to be close to everyone in their time of need, and through its web platform, it provides believers with recent information and updates about the organization.
About the project
Challenge
During the global pandemic, the OLPH Parish’s website became more actively visited, and the church decided to improve it. They ran the website audit and detected numerous issues:
- the design was outdated, hindering the user journey;
- the website wasn’t user-friendly in many aspects;
- the functionality no longer met the needs of the organization;
- content management processes weren’t streamlined.
To tackle these issues, the church contacted AnyforSoft.
Solution
At first, OLPH Parish wanted us to redesign the website. However, it became clear that too many significant changes were needed to meet the new demands. That’s why it was eventually decided to build a new website from scratch and develop a reliable content migration functionality to save all the necessary information and make the process smooth and seamless.
What we did:
- Built a brand new Drupal website following OLPH Parish’s requirements.
- Implemented best UX/UI design practices to improve user experience, simplify navigation, and add an appealing interface to the platform.
- Incorporated a new navigation system to make it easier for users to find the content they’re interested in.
- Updated the content editor to facilitate content management.
- Set up critical SEO configurations, such as robots.txt, meta tags, sitemap, aliases, and redirects.
