User Experience

From the UX team, the paths were determined to build an intuitive website that could also be powerful and allow for the addition of different types of content that is available within. From an in-depth analysis, the most sought-after topics regarding the page were gathered and given relevance in the proposed prototypes.

Through heat maps and usability tests, the way in which users consume information was learned, and we were able to come up with ideas to design the new site, always thinking of giving the best to its users.

The graphic concept

Regarding the graphic concept, we always started from the iNNpulsa brand manual and, from there, we generated interfaces (UI/UX) which had to be friendly and 100% functional. On the web, the big blocks are the ones that highlight the most important sections on the home page and open to sections with valuable content. This impacts users who know where to go.

Development

To go into development, we must go back to Drupal: the content manager that was chosen for the website. This is due to the special feature it has with regards to managing administration components and integrations.

Furthermore, important work was done with the addition of custom forms and the connection between 'sister' websites and landing with direct accesses.

Last but not least, the issue of calls, where a type of content was created with specific fields among a good number of categories. In this way, enterprising users can quickly access what they are looking for in just a few clicks.

The projects

In addition to the iNNpulsa portal, we have created successful projects, which we will highlight below and are part of the network of this entity:

Cemprende Colombia

It is an initiative that has to do with the country's entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem. It has a digital platform as well as physical locations. That's where we started to create this platform, which is at the forefront of iNNpulsa with technology to respond to each user's need.

On this site, visitors will be able to use filters on the interactive map that we created and, from there, look for more information about Cemprende's physical network. Additionally, a home page was implemented for the opportunities, which are properly categorized. Furthermore, the user will have access to an events area, which is very intuitive.

MiLab

This is the GovTech laboratory of Colombia as its slogan mentions. It is another one of the developments achieved from Link, hand in hand with iNNpulsa. This is a landing where you can find categorized challenges, invitations for those who are interested and, perhaps the most interesting thing, a virtual showcase, which is defined on the site as follows: “A space that brings together technological solutions with the capacity to generate public value, from Startups, Scaleups and Colombian SMEs, to increase their visibility and facilitate their connection with potential stakeholders”.

Dominio-co

For iNNpulsa, we also developed the Dominio-co project. We structured a landing page with precise information about the initiative of the National Government in the delivery of 1,000 free domains for internet ventures.

Colombia Emprende-Innova

Finally, we found the Colombia Emprende e Innova project, which stemmed from the Covid-19 situation and looked for a way in which citizens and companies could mitigate the effects of the pandemic in the following sectors: medical services or medicine, work at home, technological solutions, and provision of basic services.

This way, a section with these categories was created, each with different types of content and intuitive contact forms. The most important thing was the construction of an area of the services offered, having service and city filters so that users can make more precise searches.
