Meet Drupal e.V.

Mission

Drupal e. V. – German Drupal Association is a non-profit organization, founded in 2009 to foster the Drupal community (initially named "Drupal Initiative e.V."). The Abbreviation "e. V." stands for "eingetragener Verein" = registered association.

The statutes list objectives like:

  • Promotion of education and training in the field of free and open source software, especially Drupal
  • Promoting national and international cooperation
  • Facilitation of events

History

Drupal Contributions

Our members are truly community, most of them very active in organizing Drupal camps, user groups and code sprints, frequent sponsoring, presenting Drupal on conferences and trade fairs, mentoring, contributing.
For marketing activities outside the Drupal sphere, we have co-founded the CMS Garden project, fostering free and open source CMS on a larger scale.
