Drupal CMS provides tools that empower you to optimize your site and content for accessibility. With one click, you can add additional accessibility tools that can help you evaluate and enhance the accessibility of your content.

Install the Accessibility Tools add-on

To add the Accessibility Tools to your site, navigate to Extend > Recommended add-ons (admin/modules/browse/recommended) and click Install.

Try out the Editoria11y assistant

  1. In the Drupal CMS admin toolbar, navigate to Content (/admin/content).
  2. Locate the Accessibility Tools demo page content item in the list.
  3. Click the link to view the page, or choose the Edit option from the dropdown menu.
  4. In both cases, you'll see an inline accessibility report with tips about how to improve the page content.

You can use the Editoria11y assistant in your custom content, too.

Access content accessibility sitewide reports

  1. In the Drupal CMS admin toolbar, navigate to Reports > Content Accessibility (/admin/reports/editoria11y).
  2. Browse the report to identify, and fix, accessibility related issues with your site's content.
