Organizations Involved

The National Research and Development Center for Sustainable Agriculture (Estidamah) has recently embarked on developing a portal to facilitate information sharing and collaboration among stakeholders in the agriculture industry. The portal is designed to provide access to research findings, projects, and other relevant information to support sustainable agriculture in Saudi Arabia.

About the project

Goal

The goal of the Estidamah website redevelopment was to create a modern, informative, and interactive platform that effectively communicates the center's mission of promoting sustainable agriculture.

Requirements

  • Detailed Research Section: Pages for each research area (e.g., climate control, pest management) with capabilities to display ongoing and completed projects.
  • Service Pages: Information on consulting, training, and research collaboration services, including interactive contact forms.
  • Media Center: A section for news, articles, and publications related to sustainable agriculture.
  • User-Friendly Navigation: Clear and intuitive navigation structure to help users easily access content.
  • Responsive Design: A mobile-friendly layout to ensure accessibility on all devices.
  • Advanced Search Functionality: A robust search feature to help users quickly find relevant research and resources.
  • Multilingual Support: Fully integrated support for Arabic and English languages to reach a broader audience.

Outcomes

  1. Services Section
Developed detailed inner pages for each service offered by Estidamah, including Consultation, Contracted Research, and Training Programs. Each service page outlines specific offerings, benefits, and the process for engagement, enhancing clarity and accessibility for users.
  2. Detailed Research Pages
The research section was expanded to include in-depth information on each program, project, and trial. This includes dedicated pages for each research focus area with data on objectives, methodologies, and results, facilitating better understanding and engagement from the agricultural community.
  3. Interactive Tools and Features
Integrated dynamic content elements like filters, advanced search, and user-friendly navigation to help visitors easily find specific projects or services. This includes an interactive service request form to streamline engagement.
  4. Informative Media Center
The website contains informative and educational publications of researches and posters about the agricultural field and community, beside the news and events that Estidamah organize frequently.

These features ensure the Estidamah website serves as a valuable resource, effectively supporting its mission by providing clear, accessible, and detailed information on research, services, and sustainable agriculture initiatives.
