Leader of the acquisition of payment since 2004, the CMI is the trusted partner of Moroccan traders. In an increasingly competitive environment and following its merger with Morocco Telecommerce, the Centre Monétique Interbancaire called on VOID agency for the redesign of its institutional website and the implementation of powerful web tools to better communicate around its activity and promote payment by bank card in Morocco. This project with multiple strategic challenges is part of a context of digitization and unprecedented banking, while the Kingdom sees the development of dematerialized payment and e-commerce.

About the project

Electronic payment has long suffered from a lack of confidence on the part of the Moroccan consumer, who is more used to resorting to cash for his daily expenses. However, in recent years, the use of credit cards has grown dramatically, especially at the initiative of the CMI and through its many communication campaigns and pedagogy. The digital channel has enabled this Moroccan specialist in electronic banking to get closer to its target users and raise awareness on new payment methods.

The CMI aspires to become the day-to-day partner of Moroccan traders and companies. The development of digital tools therefore has the main ambitions to demystify the use of card payments, to encourage the use of dematerialized services and to encourage electronic payment equipment for all. A series of educational video capsules have been produced for this purpose, in order to make electronic banking and card payment accessible to the greatest number by focusing the messages on the many advantages they present.

The new CMI site is a multi-target showcase conveying a dynamic and modern image, with an optimized structure facilitating access to information for different user profiles. The redesign of the institutional site has been a multidimensional project with editorial, graphic and functional challenges: rewriting, restructuring and enriching editorial content, SEO optimization, graphic modernity, functional redesign and accessibility to all mobile devices thanks to a responsive design.

The CMI targets multiple and diversified targets: the cardholders' general public target, the professional target of merchants and e-merchants and finally an institutional target of banks and partners. The ergonomics of the site has been designed to ensure an intuitive, simple and optimized navigation circuit, allowing quick access to relevant information for each profile.
