About the project
Goals:
The goal was to the migration of the current Drupal 7 website to Drupal 10, coupled with the introduction of a fresh, visually captivating, and user-centric design. Simultaneously, our aim was to enhance mobile responsiveness while preserving the website's integral video capabilities, seamlessly integrated with its Vimeo account.
Challenges/Requirements:
As per the client's request, there is a need to upgrade the existing website to the latest version of Drupal, which is Drupal 10. The main objective is to ensure a seamless transition while preserving all data without any loss. The current website is built on Drupal 7, which has a distinct architecture compared to Drupal 10, and limited module support in comparison.
Solution Delivered:
We have set up the Drupal 10 environment and migrate the core functionality and content from the Drupal 7 website. Refactor custom code and functionalities to ensure compatibility with Drupal 10's architecture and APIs. Identify and update modules to their Drupal 10 versions and then migrate content, users, taxonomy terms, and other relevant data from the Drupal 7 database to the Drupal 10 database with a new, visually appealing and user-friendly design implementation.
