The City of Abbotsford is located in British Columbia and has a population of approximately 150,000 people. They required a new website that would meet the needs of their community and include their citizens in the process. There was a focus on meeting all accessibility standards and creating a new sitemap that would be easy for users to navigate. This project included in-depth discovery, strategic project planning, complete reorganizations of sitemaps and website content, and modern, mobile-first creative design. We also assisted the City with community engagement surveys, which allowed the City to get community buy-in and feedback.
About the project
The launch of this user-friendly website resulted in easy management for the City's staff. Furthermore, the new sitemap, design, intuitive navigation, and visual aids allow users to quickly find information. For example, those looking to engage with the City can simply fill out one of the many specified webforms, streamlining the process and resulting in more efficiency for the City’s internal staff.
