The local Drupal user group for Somerset! We have been meeting for many years now, but it became inconsistent over the pandemic and I decided to grow a human which distracted me... but, we're back to monthly meets now, the second Tuesday of the month!
It is an informal format, with a friendly group of techies from various backgrounds having nerdy techy chitchat which usually results in show-and-tell, the group helping people with things they're stuck on, or we may just catch up about the latest tech news and ponder how weird and advanced things are now. Every now and then, we'll plan focused meetups, but usually it's whatever anybody wants to talk about on the night so we don't formalise our talks.
We meet at 19:30, and there's plenty of biscuits, endless teas to choose from, coffee and beer (non-alcoholic and alcoholic). Officially the meetup ends at 22:30, but usually people stay until later - it's up to you how long you want to stay.
