After a brief discovery phase, ImageX helped design and develop a website on the Open Y platform. Then, we migrated existing content and launched the site providing guidance from start to finish.
The organization wanted a clean site that could be easily maintained. They were looking for a strong, user-friendly platform that was compatible with all devices and wanted to implement more effective SEO strategies and UX/UI elements to improve their community engagement and increase online sales rates. By moving their platform to Open Y, they hoped to enhance the website’s functionality and more efficiently manage content. They’d also be able to reduce risks and minimize technical development costs in the future.
About the project
ImageX provided a clear and detailed roadmap for the whole process. We started with a workshop to kick off the engagement then went through a brief discovery phase to put together some wireframes. After the client approved the design, architecture, and user journey, the ImageX team started building the site and migrating content. We custom built several functions that were specific to the organization. There’s a search feature that allows parents to find after-school program locations and another feature that facilitates branch sponsorship promotions.
Once we finished developing the platform, we linked its backend to a local server. After fixing any bugs, the team helped launch the site. In addition, we provided SEO advice. Currently, we’re working to streamline the third-party point of sale API and connect it to the site.
After launching the new mobile-friendly platform in Open Y, the organizations’ website bounce rate went from 60% to 20%. Additionally, their net promoter score (NPS) improved by 10 points, and online sales rates continue to grow.
Now that the site is launched, the client meets with an Account Manager every other week to ensure the website is on track and make any updates to the Open Y platform.
