We developed a Drupal 10 self-diagnostic platform for Anact, the French National Agency for the Improvement of Working Conditions.
This ambitious project, created using the Design Sprint method, provides companies with internal assessment tools to encourage dialogue, align perspectives, and embark on a continuous improvement journey for workplace practices.
Scope of Work: UX design, UI design, development, maintenance, and hosting.
About the project
An internal evaluation tool for key HR topics
Anact is a public administrative institution under the Ministry of Labor, overseeing a network of 16 regional agencies (ARACTs). Their mission is to provide SMEs with tools to balance workplace quality of life and performance. Led by ARACT Île-de-France, this project offers companies internal evaluation tools on various work-related topics such as quality of life, health, disability, hybrid work, and more.


Design Sprint: A 5-day UX design method for creating digital products
Our UX designers organized and facilitated a Design Sprint, a week-long series of workshops with ARACT Île-de-France to understand the platform's future users and their needs, then conceptualize a product to address those needs. This process resulted in:
- Personas: Defining the target audience.
- Site architecture and user journeys.
- User flows and a storyboard.
- Wireframes.
- A user testing report.

User journey segmentation and gamification: The key to engagement?
A core UX challenge was balancing the extensive questionnaire (96 questions) with user experience. To make this process less daunting, we:
- Segmented the questionnaire into subtopics.
- Enabled users to pause and resume diagnostics at any time.
- Implemented gamification features with rewards for completing each subtopic.
- Added a progress bar to track advancement.
- Automatically scrolled questions into view after each answer to reduce effort.
- Standardized question formats for simplicity.



Diagnostic results: A pedagogical approach to inspire action
Results are presented graphically for clarity and detail: a web-like chart with branches representing questionnaire subtopics, scored on a 1–4 scale. Additionally, a summary sheet highlights organizational strengths and provides recommendations for improvement. Results can be downloaded or printed for further use.

Fostering stakeholder dialogue and continuous improvement
To promote objectivity and social dialogue, both employee representatives and management are encouraged to complete the questionnaire and compare their perspectives. Additionally, organizations can track progress by repeating the diagnostic over time.
