SUMOL + COMPAL is a brand with 75 years of history, characterized by a young spirit and endowed with a strong tradition and trust, it is one of the most recognized brands in Portugal, guided by a high dynamic, it leads the market trends, being also a reference in the international market.
After the success of the SUMOL + COMPAL Intranet, in 2019, in which JAVALI was the company responsible for the development of the graphic concept, web design and implementation, a new challenge arose this time for its institutional website, where the SUMOL + COMPAL would like to see its values ​​and commitments reflected, betting on a younger, more dynamic image and more linked to the human side and nature.
The new challenge for 2020 was achieved and the result was the new SUMOL + COMPAL website developed by JAVALI, in the latest version of Drupal, version 9, opened at: https://sumolcompal.pt.
About the project
The new multilingual website (Portuguese, French and English) now has a more youthful and dynamic visual concept, with a more humane vision and closer to the user, thus offering a more accessible and direct browsing experience in the search for information, and ensures total and intuitive accessibility to all its contents.

Why Drupal was chosen
This was a project developed and idealized to the extent of SUMOL + COMPAL, which highlights the design that reflects the identity and values ​​of this company, such as its history, and its young, dynamic spirit and more connected to the human side and nature .
As requirements to highlight, we refer to the indicators of “Employees”, “Brands” and “Factories” and the various types of content and taxonomies, with sections organized in a simple and functional way, with emphasis on “Our brands”, “ Sustainability ”and“ Sponsorships and Donations ”, the latter with the presence of 2 forms so that all interested companies can request the type of support sought.
The backoffice was also customized according to SUMOL + COMPAL, in order to grant total autonomy to the communication teams / information systems in the creation and edition of content.
