Organizations Involved

A publicly-traded bank with over 150 branches in New York and New Jersey partnered with us to revamp its website using Drupal. The goal was to transform a complex, high-compliance platform into a user-friendly tool, empowering marketing teams to manage financial products and campaigns efficiently. Drupal’s flexibility delivered streamlined workflows, seamless third-party integrations, and enhanced user experiences, resulting in faster campaign launches and improved operational efficiency.

About the project

The bank’s previous website struggled with cumbersome workflows and limited marketing flexibility due to its complex architecture. The goals were to simplify content management, integrate external tools for intelligent search and campaign tracking, and align the platform with the brand’s identity to boost efficiency.

Requirements included a user-friendly interface for editors, support for targeted marketing campaigns, and integration with external systems to enhance customer queries and ad management. A short discovery phase with stakeholders shaped a tailored solution, validated by the client.

Using a Managed Team approach, our multidisciplinary crew—project managers, developers, architects, QA, and DevOps experts—collaborated with design partners to build a flexible, brand-aligned platform. The result was a tool that transformed arduous tasks into streamlined processes, enabling marketing teams to launch efficient, trackable campaigns quickly. The project met its timeline and budget goals.

  • Significant reduction in content management time

  • Increased campaign launch speed

  • Improved user satisfaction with streamlined workflows

Drupal turned our complex platform into a powerful, easy-to-use tool for our teams.

Why Drupal was chosen

Drupal was selected for its ability to simplify complex integrations and provide intuitive tools for non-technical editors, making it ideal for a high-compliance financial environment. Its open-source nature supported seamless connections with external systems for smart query responses and robust campaign management, while its community-driven updates ensured long-term adaptability without vendor lock-in.

Additionally, the site needed to support sophisticated marketing campaigns, including ad groupings and a system for managing, prioritizing, publishing, and displaying those ads.

Our primary focus was to transform the complex into something simple and user-friendly, to give the clients’ editors easy-to-use tools and streamline their workflows to manage their content and campaigns easily.

To solve these challenges, we launched a short discovery phase, during which one of our Architects and Project Managers identified the client’s business needs. We documented the architecture that the new website should have, which was summarily validated by the client.

We got down to work.
