Royal Power Solutions is a global leader in power distribution and transmission. Royal turned to Inclind as a development partner to build out a new, modern design created by their creative agency. The new website is presented in multiple languages and scalable to include eCommerce and a dashboard in future development phases.
About the project
Royal was looking to redesign to fit new branding as well as move from a proprietary platform to an open source solution with better content management and scalability. The new website needed to include a product catalog that could eventually transition to eCommerce and the platform needed to facilitate a Spanish translation.
A fresh, modern and responsive design was developed out in Pattern Lab and integrated into Drupal. Custom blocks were built in the Gutenberg content editor to give Royal more flexibility in structuring page layouts. The new product catalog is navigable by a mega menu and offers robust product pages with descriptions, videos, highlights and related videos. Domain switching was implemented to allow for Spanish speaking visitors to access the translated version directly.
