The Othering & Belonging Institute at UC Berkeley addresses issues around equality for all people, the interconnectedness of us all, and our relationship with our environment. They're a central hub that brings together researchers, community organizers, policymakers and other stakeholders, into research and analysis, all in support of a more-equitable society.
About the project
We came up with a bold new design for Othering & Belonging that is colorful and inviting, exceptionally clean, intuitive to navigate its loads of content, and that highlights great imagery related to the Institute’s work.
The Institute has several special programs and large conferences that used to live on external websites, so we designed and built a flexible and robust microsite system within the main site to be the new home for these special projects and events.
Why Drupal was chosen
The Othering & Belonging Institute at UC Berkeley needed a design overhaul, to be migrated to the newest version of Drupal, as well as design and development of various projects within the Institute.
