Mercator Institute for China Studies, MERICS, is an independent European think tank with focus on contemporary China. The non-profit organization was founded in 2013 by the Mercator Foundation, one of the largest private foundations in Germany. MERICS is Europe`s leading contact for questions about current developments in China.

About the project

The relaunch of the website includes the conception and redevelopment of the information architecture, sreen-design, search engine friendly programming, analysis finder, podcast player, the integration of an expert database, as well as the support of the content migration from the old system.

After the relaunch, the modular structure of this current Drupal page will result in significantly more design options and functions. The new, central media database enables easier and bundled processing of the media available on the site. The highlight of the website is the media module in Drupal.
