As the 13th presidential library, the George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum promotes an understanding of the American presidency, examines the specific time in history during which President Bush served, and provides access to official records and artifacts from the George W. Bush Administration.

Located on the campus of Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, the George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum serves as a resource for the study of the life and career of George W. Bush, while also promoting a better understanding of the Presidency, American history, and important issues of public policy.
The Library and Museum is the 13th Presidential Library administered by the National Archives and Records Administration, a U.S. Federal agency. The NARA holds the records of the U.S. Federal Government. For NARA, a โrecordโ is any type of document (textual, electronic, or audiovisual) created or received by the Executive, Legislative, or Judicial branches. These records capture information about how the government interacts with itself and its citizens. Some records are very personal, like census schedules describing where people lived and worked, while others illustrate how the government works, like a memo to the President discussing a policy decision.
About the project
The primary goal was to migrate to Drupal 9.
Why Drupal was chosen
Drupal is the web content management system (WCMS) of choice by the National Archives and most of the federal agencies in the United States. Drupal is a favorite due to its open source community, robust security, abundance of modules that extend the features and functionality of the WCMS, and hundreds of thousands of qualified developers who are passionate about using Drupal to power some of the world's most important and influential websites.
