Goal
The goal of the Jazan University project was to create a comprehensive and efficient digital platform by designing specialized architectures for subsites, facilitating independent management for over 200 teams, and integrating with different systems.
This project aimed to streamline content management, improve user experience, enhanced security and foster collaboration across various university departments and administrative functions.
Outcomes
- Specialized Subsite Architecture
Designed and implemented four specialized architectures for subsites, tailored to serve the functions of colleges, departments, deanships, and administration, each optimized for specific content management requirements.
- Autonomous Subsite Creation
Successfully created over 200 subsites, each featuring an independent administrative interface, enabling different teams to manage their content autonomously and streamline their workflows.
- HR System Integration
Integrated the platform with the HR system, allowing for automatic updates of faculty profiles, ensuring real-time synchronization of data for improved accuracy across subsites.
- Secure User Authentication
Employed LDAP authentication to establish a secure and centralized user management system, enabling users to authenticate their accounts with existing credentials, thereby enhancing security and user experience.
- OS Ticketing System Integration
Developed a form handler that integrates with the university's OS ticketing system, streamlining the submission of support requests and improving internal communication for enhanced operational efficiency.
