Prysma is a Spanish company, established in 2005 by a group of technicians and managers, with extensive experience in the sector of professional consulting, technology, technical audit and inspection services.

When Prysma came to our office they needed to develop a corporate APP to manage useful information for their workers. To manage all the information we decided use Drupal.

Prysma came to us motivated from our positive reputation and our experience as Drupal developers.

About the project

The principal goal of this project was to make easy to manage the APP through the Drupal tool. It was a great challenge!

Why Drupal was chosen

We choose Drupal for this project because this was a really custom project. It should be a portal of news publication and user consultation. The peculiarities of this project are:

News are composed of blocks that the manager user can compose according to their needs, for this the Drupal paragraphs module was used.
All the contents were exposed through web services, and are consumed by a mobile APP that Introbay has also developed.
It was integrated with Firebase to send notifications to users of APPs.
Standard Drupal permissions were customized to modify their behavior, creating modules for it.
The client can make periodic imports of users to keep the database updated and integrate it with their CRM / ERP.
Drupal fitted perfectly to all that specifications.

Specifically:

  • Scalability: Drupal is capable of handling both peak traffic and regular high volume traffic flows.
  • Security: Drupal has a dedicated Security Team working on security patches, not to mention a whole community of more than 1 million users who report bugs and security threats on drupal.org.
  • Integration capacity: This is one of the most important things that makes Drupal great: it fits within your business ecosystem.

In general terms:

  • Customization: Drupal has very few limitations to meet the needs of a company.
  • Flexibility: Authors, editors, translators, site administrators and developers can use Drupal to meet their needs, through a workflow that gives them access only to the features they need.
  • Multi language: Drupal is a platform completely prepared to multilingual sites and I18N was a MUST in this project.
  • Agility to business: new features are added more quickly than you would expect with other CMS, allowing companies to quickly adapt to changes in the market and environment in a productive and profitable way.
  • Content: SEO optimized and you can support your content strategy on different media, making the content adaptable to different channels and devices.
  • Accessibility: Drupal is by far the most accessible CMS, since it integrates accessibility standards in the core code.
  • We love Drupal.
