Both BRAINSUM and Novozymes are committed to open-source as the foundation of future-proof, long-term solutions. This approach will lead to even more contributions in the future during continuous maintenance and improvements.

BRAINSUM built a modern, decoupled corporate website for a leading biosolutions company. The vendor was tasked with developing the Drupal backend of the site and setting up the infrastructure, and building the Next.js frontend.

The new site replaced a legacy Sitecore site and an older Drupal website.

Requirements

Following an unsatisfactory start with another agency, Novozymes contacted BRAINSUM with a critical and urgent project of launching a new corporate website. BRAINSUM worked quickly to closely cooperate with Novoyzmes's in-house frontend lead for the Next.js and worked on the headless Drupal backend to meet the short and hard deadline.

Outcome

BRAINSUM was incredibly resourceful and willing to jump in and "save the day", and has provided help in everything from wireframe refining, to design & implementation, to infrastructure & security and ultimately training super users in the newly developed web application. BRAINSUM delivered the site on time and within budget, thanks to their dedication and strong understanding of the client's goals and business needs. The pragmatic, solution-oriented team communicated clearly and was flexible and accommodating throughout. They impressed with their can-do attitude.
