Press releases

As a stock market listed company, Südzucker has special requirements for the confidentiality, timing, and security of its press releases. To improve the editorial process, an automated system was created that allows Südzucker to schedule and issue press releases down to the second. The releases are then fed directly into appropriate overviews and archives in order to comply with all stock exchange regulations and to inform all investors with pinpoint accuracy.

Similar automatic mechanisms are also in place for the hundreds of financial reports, conference calls and IR presentations from the last two decades, which can be found on the site clearly arranged and broken down by financial year.

At home in over 30 countries

Südzucker AG has more than 150 branches, production sites, sales and administration buildings worldwide. To present this information, an interactive location map based on Google Maps was developed, which users can filter and explore as they wish.

Digital job offers

In the competitive labor market, every company struggles to find available skilled workers. Therefore, Südzucker places a large focus of its corporate website to recruit new employees. Landing pages were created for different target groups, communicating all career benefits at the sugar giant and integrating vacancies directly via an API to the company's HR tool. Job openings can be placed on the website according to target groups and can be filtered by location or profession. In this way, the entire digital application process comes from a single source.

Reporting made easy

To make reporting easier for journalists and other members of the press, an image and media database was introduced at the launch of the new site, in which high-resolution photo and video material are available for download.

In addition, users can sign up for two newsletter distribution lists that have been integrated directly into the website via CleverReach. This way, they receive the latest press releases or the publication of documents from the investor relations section directly in their inbox at any time.

Why Drupal was chosen

Südzucker AG relies fully on Drupal for its new corporate website: up-to-the-second publication of press releases and financial reports, automated archives, career portal, an interactive site map and much more.
