Community contributions
1. Custom Modules:
Cheeseburger Menu: This module, specifically developed for Drupal 8, was adapted and enhanced for Drupal 10, providing a streamlined and intuitive navigation experience. It was shared with the community to help other developers implement similar solutions.
Promotion Module: Developed enhancements for the Drupal Commerce promotion module to support complex discounting and promotional rules, which were contributed back to the community.
SAP Integration: Created a custom module for seamless SAP ERP integration, ensuring real-time synchronization of products and orders. This module was made available to other developers facing similar integration challenges.
2. Patches:
Contributed several patches to existing modules such as Drupal Commerce and SOLR Search, improving their stability and functionality. These patches addressed bugs and added features that benefited the broader Drupal community.
3. Documentation:
Provided detailed documentation for all custom solutions, including integration guides for MailChimp and ERP systems, enhancing the resources available to the Drupal community. This documentation was designed to help other developers understand and implement these solutions efficiently.
4. Themes:
Developed and shared a custom theme optimized for eCommerce, focusing on performance and mobile responsiveness. This theme was tailored to meet the high standards of user experience expected by the German market.

About the project
Challenges
The challenge was to make a good synchronization of the website with the stock, while taking into account that the local distributor YUGLOB has over 10 retail stores that share the same stock.
The next challenge was to create as close as possible a replica of the American and Canadian site adapted for the Balkan market. Although we had instructions, this would not be an easy task at all as it involved not only copying but also making compromises due to differences in the market.
It was also a challenge to synchronize the work and communication we did with the American team, the team from Serbia and with the people who developed the ERP system.

We used the Promotion module from Drupal commerce

The results
The website represents the replica of the original USA site, adjusted for the Serbian market. Because of the 2.000 articles that are updated every few minutes, special attention is paid to product categories which drastically improve user experience. Website visitors can search by their kids' age, sex or the type of clothes they need. Also, the one-step checkout greatly simplifies the purchase process.
Why Drupal was chosen
We already built one website for another brand and the logical choice by the client is to continue to work with us and Drupal CMS. Because Drupal has the commerce distribution we utilized that.
