To improve the website’s usability, we created additional features for it.

Main Menu

We needed to improve the usability of the main menu. Mainly, we had to edit the site’s top menu by adding drop-down submenus for the "Store" and "Brands."

The drop-down submenu for the "Store" had to have links to the main sections of the product catalog.

The drop-down submenu for the "Brands" had to have links to brand pages.

Drop-down submenus didn’t have to be long, so we needed to provide the ability to scroll through the list of links in the submenu.

To fulfil these requirements, we added submenus with the help of Drupal, added the script for submenu scrolling and changed the layout a little bit.

Discount feature

Our task was to create the discount feature in the admin panel with the following capabilities:

● to allow setting the same kind of discount for certain product cards through the admin panel
● to have the discount displayed in the right upper corner of product card
● to have the discount disappear when a photo is clicked

To fulfil these requirements, we added fields for a checkbox and the amount of the discount, and implemented the display of these fields on the product page and on the store pages, categories, brand and sales, and in the "Related Products" block. We added changes to the layout.
