We publish feature articles about a theme or topic, and supplement those articles with news from and about institutional end investors, their advisors, and investment managers.

AlphaWeek's four main content channels are Alternative Credit, Hedge Funds, Private Equity, and Venture Capital.

About the project

Goals:

To upgrade the version from drupal 7 to drupal 9 which is supported by security fixes, faster response & better accessibility.

Challenges/Requirements:

  • Upgradation of the Drupal version from 7.0 to 9.0 allows the CMS to be alert to the latest potential internet threats.
  • Version upgradation shall not compromise the existing data of the CMS.
  • Dotsquares ensure that the users must not face any trouble accessing the website during the upgradation activity.

Solution Delivered:

  • Upgradation was delivered by analysing the existing database schemas and website modules.
  • We have listed the deprecated modules and implemented the alternatives for them.
  • The analysis helped us to find the solutions for the migration process and potential risks led to being cautious and taking preventive measures to avoid any system breakdown.
  • Implementation of the seamless upgradation without compromising any existing data or features of the website.
